Cute Lotion Bottle Cozy

Materials:
Any cotton thread ( size 8 or 10 )
4/0 or 2.5mm crochet hook
Lotion bottle with pump , with body measuring as follows:
base: 1.5 inches diameter
length: 2 inches length
Chain 3 on start of row counts as 1 DC
row 1: chain 3, 11 dc on 3rd chain from hook,join on top of chain 3. ( 12 dc )
row 2. chain 3, turn. dc on same stitch. 2 DC on each dc around. join. ( 24 dc )
row 3. chain 3, turn. dc on same stitch. alternate 1 dc, then 2 dc on next stitch around. ( 36 dc ).
row 4. Chain 3, turn. 1 dc on each dc. join . ( 36 dc ).
row 5 chain 4, do not turn. ( skip 1 dc, dc on next dc. ) repeat around. slip stitch on 3rd chain of chain 4 loop.
row 6 - 10. repeat row 5
row. 11. chain 1, turn. sc on next dc. ( chain 1, sc on next dc ) repeat round. slip stitch on first sc.
row 12. do not turn, [ chain 5. slip stitch on 4th chain from hook ( picot made ). slip stitch to base. chain 3, slip stitch on next sc ] repeat around. slip stitch to first sc and finish off.
cut 60 inches thread. fold in 3 parts. ( or cut 3 threads 20 inches each held together. ) hold the other end while twisting the other. once tension is enough, join the ends. ( twisted cord just made )
tie the ends. slip this through the chain 3 portion of row 12. slip though your lotion bottle and pull cord.
